Introduction to Polo clinic (Toronto Polo Club)

Conducted by Polo Management Services on behalf of the Toronto Polo Club. This one day clinic will give you a chance to learn about Polo, as well as an opportunity to actually try polo out on our quiet well schooled horses.

• Non Riders welcome
  Over 70% of the participants we teach have little or no riding experience.
• Exceptionally well schooled and suitable Polo ponies
• Excellent coaches (all adult USPA and Polo Canada members)
  with a significant track record in player development.
• Custom built training arena

SCHEDULE

10:00 - 11:30	Introduction and video on the steps to playing Polo
11:30 - 1:00	Ground work with hand mallets, hitting position and balance on wooden horses
1:00 – 2:00	Lunch – rules video
2:00 – 3:30	Pony familiarization, equipment overview, polo riding lesson
3:30 – 4:30	Stick and Ball on horses. Scrimmage sessions
4:30 – End of day	Summary of day, discussion on pursuing Polo and membership of Toronto Polo Club
